From both personal experience watching family members deal with the care of an elderly relative after being diagnosed with cancer, and from listening to family and friends working in healthcare, the issue of coordinating care is always a charged topic. There usually isn't one point of contact and without being very forceful and proactive, important matters fall through the cracks. Although there is still much to be done, I hope that ACT.md can be part of the solution.
Patrick has a BA in International Relations and a BS in Computer Science from Tufts University, and a MS and PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Patrick enjoys architecting software systems, building tools that are useful to many, and tackling challenging problems.
